MCI Management - Hands On Workshop
Our region saw several large scale incidents in the last year. NYS has provided us with tools to help manage these incidents, however we don't end up using them on scene. This workshop will cover the important requirements of initial scene management and requires participation in the utilization of the SMART Triage System provided by NYS. There will be hands on use of the command board and triage kits as well as scenario driven decision making processes. No matter the level of experience everyone will benefit from practicing the use of these important tools.

Certificates of attendance/completion and CME credits will be issued for these workshops.

Keynote:  Bill Justice F/F, NREMT-P.
“Strike a Cord”
A presentation for the “trauma junkie” that focuses on high energy trauma and scene management along with useful ”pearls” to assist in choreographing a sometime chaotic scene.

Evolution of You”   A reflection of a lifetime of responding allows each of us a moment to reflect on the daily realities and personal traits that combine to make us who we are. Each moment we share often brings us closer to our brothers and sisters in service – but often the opposite effect on those who “just don’t understand.” Bill describes and relates critically important life lessons and communication tools learned in the profession of “life” that we share.
