Founded in 1986, the Finger Lakes Regional Emergency Medical Services Council, Inc. is empowered by Public Health Law Article 30 through the New York State Department of Health Bureau of EMS to coordinate Emergency Medical Service programs within the four county area of Ontario, Seneca, Wayne and Yates.

 

The Council has a collaborative agreement with Finger Lakes Community College which provides credit bearing EMS courses and office space.

The on-going mission of the council is to promote public health, safety, and welfare by coordinating emergency medical services and training within our region.
